Pittie Loses His Baby Status After Becoming A Big Brother, Adjusting Perfectly

Taz, an adorable Pit Bull from New York, has always been known for his clingy personality, especially when it comes to his doggy sibling, Bones.

Taz can’t bear to be away from Bones for even a second and is lovingly referred to as “the baby of the family.”

But everything changed when a new, human baby brother entered the picture!

The Baby Of The Family

Taz has always been a playful and silly pup, keeping everyone entertained with his antics. His owner, Jessica, knows how clingy he can get, especially when anyone pays too much attention to Bones.

If grandma starts petting Bones or calling him sweet names, Taz is right there, snuggling up to steal the spotlight.

And when Bones is outside with dad, Taz waits anxiously by the door, eager for his buddy to come back inside.

But when Jessica and her husband welcomed their baby boy, Ethan, into the family, Jessica was a little unsure how Taz would react.

Although Taz has always been good with people, she was nervous about how he’d handle being “dethroned” as the family baby.

Adapting To Life As A Big Brother

At first, Taz seemed confused by the new addition. He watched baby Ethan from a distance, unsure of his new role.

Meanwhile, Bones immediately welcomed Ethan with open paws, acting like he’d always been a part of the family.

It didn’t take long for Taz to warm up to the idea of having a baby brother.

Within a few days, he accepted his new role as a big brother and began protecting baby Ethan, lying next to the crib with Bones and sneaking in gentle kisses whenever he could.

“Taz and Bones have been adjusting to baby Ethan so well, and it makes me sooo happy,” Jessica shared on Instagram. “They’re honestly probably adjusting better than I am!”

An Adorable Trio

As time went on, Taz’s jealousy disappeared, and he embraced his two siblings with love.

His owners are thrilled to see Taz evolve from the clingy pup he used to be into a caring and protective big brother.

“I know they’re going to be the best of friends once he’s older and can play with them, but for now, we’ll take all the sweet, gentle playtime we can get,” Jessica wrote.
