Joyful Tears Flow As Girl Reunites With Her Lost Dog After Two Months

This is the story of a family who lost hope after losing their beloved dog, Max.

But against all odds, their dog miraculously reappeared, making his family happier than ever.

Max Was Lost For Two Months

Max, a tiny furball, had wandered the streets of San Antonio for two whole months after being lost.

Unlike many family dogs that find their way back home, Max couldn’t.

His family was frantic, knowing that their small, friendly mixed-breed dog couldn’t survive on the streets alone. They put up fliers around the neighborhood and alerted the police, but there was no sign of Max.

Despite being a sweet and calm dog, Max remained missing, and his family was losing hope. Two months passed with no leads. The children, once inconsolable, had almost given up on seeing their little buddy again.

But then, a miracle happened.

Deputy Perez To The Rescue

Deputy Perez of the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a small dog wandering the neighboring streets.

The description matched Max exactly.

Perez recalled seeing Max’s flier at the BCSO substation for the past two months and quickly responded to the call.

He found the tiny dog and confirmed it was indeed Max.

“As you can see on the children’s faces, they could not be happier! Thank you to Deputy Perez for facilitating this reunion,” the BCSO shared on their official Facebook page.

The Most Heartwarming Of Reunions

Deputy Perez wasted no time in informing Max’s family. Overwhelmed with joy, they rushed to the station.

The moment they saw Max, their happiness overflowed. Max wagged his tail and leaped into their arms, finally home where he belonged.

One of the girls couldn’t hold back her tears as she picked up Max, embracing him tightly. It was a reunion filled with joy, tears, and endless hugs and kisses, all thanks to Deputy Perez.

Max’s return home marked the end of a traumatic experience. With the love and care of his family, Max quickly settled back into his old, happy self, safe and sound in his Texas home.
