Worried Mama Dog Leads Rescuers To Save Her Puppies

Rescuers often encounter incredible stories of survival, but this one stands out for the sheer determination of a devoted mother dog.

When a stray approached them with unusual urgency, it was clear she needed help for more than just herself.

She Desperately Asked For Help

While feeding stray dogs at a local beach, a group of rescuers noticed a particularly anxious dog. She seemed to be asking for something, but they weren’t sure what.

After giving her food and water, they expected her to stay, but instead, she bolted.

Curious, the team followed her as she ran down the road toward a parking lot. She stopped near an abandoned sea container office and crawled underneath it.

Her actions puzzled the rescuers, who tried to get closer to see what was going on.

Despite their difficulty reaching the spot, they saw her feeding her seven pups.

The rescuers named her Gex and brought more food to keep her and her babies nourished.

Gex’s sweet and trusting demeanor suggested she had once belonged to someone but was abandoned. Yet, her devotion to her puppies never wavered, and she still seemed to hope her owner would return.

Towards Recovery

Initially, the rescuers had to leave Gex and her puppies at the site but ensured they returned daily with food.

Over time, the puppies grew stronger and bolder, venturing out of their hiding place and becoming playful.

Using this opportunity, the rescuers dewormed the puppies, taking another critical step toward their recovery.

A month later, it was time for a big move. The rescuers carefully placed Gex and her seven puppies into a car and took them to a shelter.

A Fresh Start

The puppies quickly began finding their forever homes. Three were adopted soon after their arrival at the shelter and are now thriving with their new families.
