Homeless Pup Finds His Forever Family On An Unexpected Porch
This is the story of Sunny, a stray dog who was struggling to survive in the street in LA.
But one day, while he was roaming the street, he luckily stumbled into a loving family that would become his.
Sunny’s Hopes And Dreams
Sunny was a very scared and lonely dog for most of his life. He didn’t trust people easily, but he desperately wanted someone to love him.

He spent a lot of his time wandering the streets of Los Angeles, California, hoping to find that special person who would change his life for the better.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Sunny came across a house and noticed the owners seemed friendly.
Taking a chance, he slowly approached their home and decided to camp out on their front porch.
“I told them to do whatever they can to keep him there so I could come help.” Jaylene Guevara shared in a TikTok video.

Guevara hurried back to her parents’ house to assist the dog. Meanwhile, her mom and dad worked on gaining Sunny’s trust by giving him food and blankets.
Their efforts paid off, and Sunny had warmed up to the couple by the time Guevara arrived.
Guevara’s New Best Friend
Once Sunny felt comfortable around Guevara, she took him to the vet to check for a microchip. The vet confirmed that Sunny didn’t have a microchip and recommended a grooming session.

Sunny’s fur was in terrible condition and caused him many problems. Once it was gone, the dog was visibly happier, surprising even Guevara.
“He was so happy after his grooming. He was rolling around on the grass,” she said.
Although he still had a long way to go in his recovery, Guevara decided to be there for him through it all.
“The poor boy is so skinny, but he’s in good hands with us. We are going to get him back to looking and feeling like his best self,” she said.

A few days later, Guevara updated everyone on Sunny’s condition in another Tiktok video. He was recovering quickly and regaining his strength.
Though still adapting to his new environment, he loved his new life and owner.
After so much time roaming the streets of California, it seems like Sunny has finally found his forever home.
