Three Abandoned Puppies Watch Each Other’s Backs While Waiting For Someone Kind To Notice Them

Three tiny pups, left behind in an abandoned property, refused to separate from one another.
They waited, hoping someone would come to their rescue.
Rescue Mission Begins
Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s Legacy 29, frequently gets calls about abandoned pups in Southern California. One day, she received a call that stood out from the rest.
A Good Samaritan reported that they had found not one, but three adorable puppies in Compton, sticking together and desperately needing help.

Knowing this would be a challenging rescue, Hall prepared herself for what she expected to be a difficult mission.
“It was beyond heartbreaking to see. They are all so tiny,” Hall shared on Facebook.
Unfortunately, mechanical issues with her rescue van delayed the mission by a couple of days.
In the meantime, her friend Mary Nakiso took it upon herself to visit the pups each evening, bringing them food to keep them strong while they waited for their saviors.
The First Rescue Attempt
When Hall finally arrived, she was overwhelmed by the pups’ bond.

“They were so scared, but they had each other. And boy, do they love each other,” Hall recalled with The Dodo.
Wanting to avoid scaring the pups, Hall stayed at a distance and spoke to them gently, reassuring them that help was on the way.
The smallest pup, Oscar, was captured quickly, while Nakiso worked to gain the trust of the middle pup.
“The little girl loved Mary so much, and Mary was able to get her,” Hall wrote.
With Oscar and his sister, Jolene, safe in the van, the team went to find their older brother, Ollie.
“The third baby boy was so beyond scared, he kept going into the garage,” she told.
Taking A Step Back
Not wanting to rush him, Hall and Nakiso decided to give Ollie some space to decompress. They took the two siblings to Camino Pet Hospital in California, where they would be safe.
Later that evening, Hall returned to try again, this time with backup.

The team set up a humane trap near the garage, hoping Ollie would wander into it on his own.
The next morning, Hall was thrilled to find Ollie calmly sitting in the trap, waiting for her to rescue him.
He was driven to the vet hospital, where the three puppies were finally reunited.
“They were all so scared. So cold, so hungry. But they were finally all safe. They had each other again,” Hall said.
After their thorough checkups, Hall’s friend Genavie Ochoa offered to foster all three puppies together, ensuring they would not be separated.
The Healing Begins
While Ollie still struggles with trust, his siblings, Jolene and Oscar, are thriving and starting to love their new lives as house dogs.
“Ollie is so scared, but the other two are so sweet and love belly rubs. These poor babies went through so much,” Hall said.
@_genavie_ These sweet little babies 😫 I’m trying so hard to make friends with the other one. He’s just gonna need some more time and that’s ok. They were rescued from an abandoned house in Compton. Someone left these three little babies to fend for themselves. They’re literally so tiny! Though their past still lingers in Ollie’s heart, his siblings are already embracing the brighter future ahead of them.
Ollie, Jolene, and Oscar are well on their way to finding their forever homes.

But for now, the love and care they receive in their foster home are more than enough to help them heal.
“I’m sure they haven’t slept this good in a long time. They are rescued and have each other,” Hall concluded.
