Her condition was dire; she was lost, injured by a bigger dog, and her days seemed numbered. Yet, fate had a different plan.
Noticed by a few kind-hearted people who saw her suffering, the puppy, whose journey had just begun, was about to embark on a path to a new life.
Several Surgical Treatments Were Needed
This puppy, later named Scooter, was in desperate need of medical care. Her hind legs were fractured, and she was suffering from open, infected wounds.
The people who found her rushed her to a veterinary clinic where she received the urgent care she needed.
The doctors worked diligently, cleaning her wounds of maggots, treating her infections, and taking care of her bandages.

On The Road To Recovery
After a few days in the veterinary clinic, Scooter was moved to a shelter and her recovery began. She was given medications, vitamins, and plenty of food to help her regain her strength.
The shelter staff and volunteers dedicated themselves to her care, showing her the kindness she desperately needed. She also made a lot of new doggo friends.

Yet, there was more to come.
And Scooter Became Dobby
After some time, Alexandra decided to take Scooter with her to Virginia in the US, where she was warmly welcomed into Alexandra’s family home.

There, Scooter received a new name, Dobby, marking the start of an entirely new life chapter.
Dobby is now extremely loved, living a great life with the best family she could have. She is now healthy and happy, which is everything we could hope for.
