Small Pup Just Can’t Stay Awake During His Initiation Photo Shoot
Little Benny was eager to have his professional photos taken to kickstart his career with the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind.
However, this photoshoot coincidentally clashed with Benny’s nap time, leading to an irresistibly cute moment that captured hearts around the world.
Benny’s Guide Dog Foundation Journey
Benny was born as a member of the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of those who are blind or visually impaired.
If all goes well, Benny will one day become a guide dog for someone in need or serve as a service dog for a veteran or another individual requiring assistance.
Both roles are honorable, and Benny is sure to excel in whichever path he takes.

At six weeks old, puppies at the Guide Dog Foundation have their professional photos taken as part of a tradition marking the beginning of their training process.
It was finally time for little Benny to don his bright yellow vest, proudly labeled “Guide Dog Foundation,” and step in front of the camera.
A Sleepy Photoshoot
As the photoshoot began, Benny couldn’t contain his excitement – or his sleepiness.
Try as he might, he just couldn’t fight off the urge to nap.
“During the shoot, Benny looked sleepier than ever, and we could see him starting to doze off, so we quickly began filming just in time to watch him slowly tip over,” said Rebecca Eden, the internet marketing coordinator at the Guide Dog Foundation, in an interview with The Dodo.
Despite his valiant efforts to stay awake, the adorable puppy eventually collapsed on the table, ready for a well-deserved nap.
“Our nursery staff and photographer were all giggling, and you can hear one staff member say, ‘Goodnight,’ as he dozes off,” Rebecca added.
Viral Cuteness Overload
The video of Benny’s sleepy photoshoot quickly went viral, racking up almost 300,000 views on Facebook as viewers couldn’t resist his charming antics.
The photographer still managed to shoot some adorable photos, perfectly capturing Benny’s precious initiation moment.
Growing Up and Moving Forward
Benny is now a much bigger pup, although he’s still just as cute as ever.

He went to live with his new foster mom, Juliana Faith, who will care for him until he’s old enough to become a guide dog.
