Mama Dog Expresses Endless Gratitude To The Woman Who Saved Her Babies
Happy, a devoted Pit Bull, was no exception, determined to shield her seven babies from harm.
When a woman in Chattanooga, Tennessee, first noticed the pittie near her home, she didn’t know the full story behind this dog’s sorrowful eyes.
Though she fed the dog several times, she realized that food alone wasn’t what this mother craved most.
A Rescuer Steps Into Action
The woman’s understanding of the dog’s struggles deepened when she saw her feeding several hungry puppies near the house.
Compassionately, she created a secure spot for them but couldn’t do much more.

Hoping to get help, she recorded a video of the dog nursing her pups and sent it to someone she trusted.
That person, Audray Luck, founder of Luck’s Rescue, acted immediately and drove to the location without hesitation.
As soon as Luck arrived, the mother dog greeted her with a joyful leap into her lap, earning the fitting name Happy.

“Happy just wanted to make sure that they got enough food and that they were healthy,” Luck explained to Cuddle Buddies.
Happy’s story was heartbreaking.
Once living in a warm home, she had been abandoned by her owners and left to fend for herself. Against the odds, she gave birth to seven puppies and kept them safe until a neighbor discovered them.
A Hopeful New Beginning
Luck quickly found a foster home for Happy’s puppies, ensuring their immediate care and safety.
However, Happy stayed with Luck a little longer to heal and regain strength.

“Happy was a little concerned. She was like, ‘Where are my babies?’” Luck shared.
Soon, a foster home was secured for Happy as well, where she received the love and attention she deserved.
When Luck reunited Happy with her pups during a visit, her joy was boundless. It was clear that her love for her babies had never wavered.

Eventually, Happy and her puppies had to part ways to begin their separate journeys toward forever homes. Despite all she had endured, Happy’s heart remained full of love.
“She’s been through so much in her life and yet like she’s still willing to give so much love,” Luck reflected.

Happy’s healing was also aided by a unique friendship she formed with a bunny at her foster home.
Their bond brought even more joy into her life, reinforcing that brighter days were ahead.
Life, once a series of hardships for Happy, had become a blessing.
