Policeman Saves And Adopts The Tinest Puppy In Hollywood
During his regular patrol on the streets of Hollywood, this policeman encountered a tiny, lonely puppy.

On October 5, 2019, while patrolling the streets of Los Angeles, Officers Mercado and Tavera of the LAPD’s Hollywood Division noticed a tiny chocolate puppy trailing behind them.

The little pup, later named Hobart after the street where he was found, was all alone and appeared to be seeking help.
Intrigued by his playful nature and immediate attachment, the officers decided to bring Hobart back to the station with them.
It was clear that the streets were no place for such a young and vulnerable puppy.
Hobart quickly became enamored with Officer Mercado, following him around the station and showing his affection.
Viral Sensation And A New Home
The LAPD shared a heartwarming video of Hobart clinging to Officer Mercado, which quickly went viral.

Shortly after, the LAPD confirmed the good news: Officer Mercado had officially adopted Hobart.
