Abandoned Dog Left On A Bench Patiently Waits For Someone To Save Him

This is the story of Gordough, a sweet dog who was left behind, tied to a park bench by his owners.

The Austin Humane Society rescuers were stunned to find Gordough, a 115-pound Pit Bull mix, tied to the bench with a pleading expression.

“He (..) was crusty from head to toe. He had infections of the skin and eyes and desperately needed medicated baths, eye drops, and ointment to treat them,” shared the 15/10 Foundation on Facebook.

Despite his discomfort, Gordough’s tail wagged with joy the moment rescuers approached him.

“Gordough is a big guy, he weighs 115 pounds but has a sweet and gentle demeanor,” wrote the Austin Humane Society on Instagram.

The caring staff gave him much-needed baths and treated his infections with great patience. Gordough responded with gratitude, soaking up every bit of affection.
