Abandoned Dog Found A New Home Thanks To A Video Gone Viral
Snoop was abandoned on the side of the road by his owner. Luckily, the whole thing was filmed by CCTV and the footage, shared on the internet, has gone viral.
Rescued by a passerby, he spent some time in a shelter, hoping that a new family would come along.
Thanks to the video, Snoop received an outpouring of generosity and attention, until a new owner adopted him.
Left Alone On The Roadside by Its Owner
Snoop’s story began in 2018, in a manner most would find unthinkable. His owner, in a heart-wrenching act, abandoned him on the side of a road in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

Snoop, a loyal and loving Staffordshire Bull Terrier, watched in confusion and sadness as his owner disposed of not just him, but his bed too, and drove away without looking back.
Left alone, Snoop waited beside his bed, hoping for a return that was never to come.

Hours passed before a kind-hearted passerby noticed Snoop in his bed. Moved by the sight, they didn’t hesitate to bring him to a local shelter.

Despite his gentle nature and good manners, Snoop struggled deeply with the loss of his owner, plunging into depression.

Snoop adapted quickly to his new environment, his spirits lifting with each passing day.

He claimed the sofa as his throne, basking in the warmth of the fire, a stark contrast to the cold roadside where he was once left.
“As soon as he came into the house for the first time, he jumped on the sofa and it was as though he decided that was the space for him! He loves to lie on the back of the sofa, and if I put the fire on, he will curl up in front of it,” shared Laurence.
Finally Smiling Again
Today, Snoop’s life is filled with joy and comfort. He spends his days playing, exploring the vast yard at his disposal, and enjoying cozy naps on his favorite spot on the sofa.
Laurence reflects on Snoop’s arrival, noting how the dog immediately made himself at home, especially loving to curl up in front of the fire.
