When the team from Twenty Paws Rescue (TPR) arrived to take Tyson to safety, his heartbreak was clear.

He refused to leave the only home he had ever known, curling up inside his crate as if trying to disappear. He was scared, exhausted, and unwilling to trust anyone.
The rescuers knew that healing takes time. They patiently waited, showing him kindness until he finally allowed them to take him to safety.

But the loss had taken a toll on him—not just emotionally, but physically too.
Tyson was diagnosed with anemia and seemed to have lost the will to eat or interact with other dogs. He spent his days curled up in his crate, completely shut down.
Tyson needed someone who could understand his pain. And that’s when Laura stepped in.
Opening His Heart Again
Laura, a dedicated foster and animal lover, opened her heart to Tyson.
