Meet Cinnamon, The Puppy With The Most Amazing ‘Cinnamon Roll’ Ears
When Jen Deane heard about puppies in rural Georgia in need for help, she knew she had to save them.
Of course she knew the puppies would be cute, but she was in for a wonderful surprise!
The Call For Help
On a Friday night, Jen Deane, the president of charity organization Pit Sisters got the news that dogs were in need of help.
Two litter of puppies (10 pups in total) were in a rural shelter, left alone without their parents.
Ashley Combs, member of Pit Sisters, did not hesitate one second. She drove 11 hours non-stop to get to the puppies, but what she saw when she arrived broke her heart.
“It’s likely the pups escaped a neglectful owner; each of them was very skinny, dirty, and infected with worms”
When Ashley brought back the puppies, Jen took them immediately to the vet to receive the care they needed and deserved.
A Puppy Like No Other
Among all the puppies, there was one very special little girl that caught Jen’s attention.
What made the pup stand out were her unique ears. While her brothers and sisters had big, pointy ears, this little pup’s ears were different.
They curled inward, looking just like two little cinnamon rolls.
“I’ve never seen a dog with ears like hers. Everyone can’t believe how adorable she is... and she’s even cuter in person!” said Jen.
Jen knew right there the perfect name for this pup – Cinnamon.
A Star is Born
Cinnamon’s photo was shared on the internet by the rescue group, Pit Sisters, and soon, she became a little celebrity.
People couldn’t stop talking about how cute she was, with some even saying her ears looked like “victory rolls,” a fancy hairstyle from the 1940s.
Her story and those unique ears of hers got shared thousands of times, making lots of people smile.
This drew attention to herself and to her little pup siblings, which are all up for adoption.
Finding Forever Homes
Now, Cinnamon is not just happy and healthy, but also a bit famous.
She’s 8 weeks old and full of fun and mischief. Cinnamon, along with her playful littermates, is getting ready to find forever homes.
Jen has fallen in love with Cinnamon’s brother, Zeke, and decided to adopt him.
And as for Cinnamon, she also found her forever home. A loving family, with already three other dogs, saw her story online and instantly fell in love with the little pup.
Months later after the adoption, Jen received updates from Cinnamon and her new family.
Cinnamon is not just any puppy; she’s a special little girl who knows she’s loved.
“Cinnamon is very feisty, in a good way. She’s really sweet and gets along well with other dogs. Her ears just match her personality — quirky and really fun.”
And so, Cinnamon’s story is a happy reminder of how every dog, no matter how unique, has a special place in this world.
