Hairless Stray Stuns Everyone By Growing The Fluffiest, Most Beautiful Coat Ever
When rescuers first found this poor pup, he was completely hairless, covered in sores, and barely recognizable as a dog.
Neglected and abandoned, he had almost given up—until kind-hearted people stepped in to change his life and transform him.
A Stray Pup In Desperate Need
A stray pup named Mrs. Greg was found wandering the streets alone when an animal control officer spotted her and took her to a local shelter.

Her condition was heartbreaking. She suffered from severe sarcoptic mange, leaving her completely hairless, and tested positive for parvovirus, a disease with a grim prognosis.
Unfortunately, the shelter lacked the resources to provide the extensive care she needed.
Thankfully, Mrs. Greg was transferred to Austin Pets Alive!, a shelter equipped to help her fight for survival.

“Mrs. Greg was in poor condition. She tested positive for parvovirus and had severe sarcoptic mange,” Luis Sanchez, director of public relations and communications at Austin Pets Alive!, shared with The Dodo.
Despite the odds, the brave little pup refused to give up. She overcame parvo, but her recovery from mange took longer than expected, and her fur showed no signs of growing back.
Shelter workers worried that her appearance would make it difficult for her to find a home, but one special person saw beyond her hairless exterior and fell in love.
A compassionate woman named Olivia adopted Mrs. Greg, renaming her Winnie, and was determined to help her heal completely and live the best life possible.
An Unbelievable Transformation
Even after being adopted, Winnie continued to battle health issues, but her spirit remained unbreakable.

“I know she fought through the parvo and mange in the shelter, and it took a while for her to be fully okay after being adopted. She kept getting sick and having tummy issues, but she was a trooper and a happy puppy through it all,” Olivia said.
Olivia didn’t know if Winnie’s fur would ever grow back, but it didn’t matter—she adored her pup just the way she was.

Then, Winnie shocked everyone. Slowly but surely, her coat started growing in, and before long, she had the fluffiest, most gorgeous fur anyone had ever seen.
“I cannot believe how much fur she has now. I feel like she keeps getting more!” Olivia marveled.
Now, Winnie has completely left her past behind and is thriving in her loving home.
