Stray Dog Walks Into A Vet Clinic Alone And Ends Up Changing His Life Forever
Some animals have an incredible sense of survival, even when they are in pain or discomfort.
In the case of one stray dog, his instincts led him to seek help in the most surprising way—and it was a decision that would save his life.
A Brave Dog Shows His Pain
Veterinarian Daysa Ferreira da Silva was in the middle of her usual day at the Vet Vip Clinic when something unexpected happened.
A black stray dog appeared at the clinic’s entrance, watching cautiously before limping inside.
As he approached Ferreira, the dog stopped and raised his injured paw, as if to show her exactly what was wrong.
Ferreira instantly recognized the dog’s gesture.
“When he came in, he put the injured paw forward, as if to say hello and to show that he was hurting,” she shared with The Dodo. “We were surprised because he knew where to ask for help.”
His trust in her was clear, and she immediately guided him to receive the care he needed.
This incredible moment was captured on the clinic’s surveillance camera, leaving everyone amazed by the stray dog’s courage.
A Life-Saving Visit
Ferreira wasted no time in taking the stray dog into the exam room. Despite being a street dog, he offered her his injured paw without hesitation.
After a thorough examination, Ferreira was relieved to find that his paw injury wasn’t serious.
But during her check-up, she discovered something much more alarming—a transmissible venereal tumor, a common but treatable condition in stray dogs.
Thanks to his brave decision to walk into the clinic, the dog now had a chance to fight this condition.
Ferreira immediately started him on a 30-day treatment that included chemotherapy, which he handled remarkably well.
His health improved quickly, and soon, the dog—now named Quindim—was not only healed but thriving.
From Stray To Star
Ferreira posted the heartwarming video of Quindim’s self-initiated visit on Facebook, and the story quickly went viral.
People were moved by the stray dog who knew just where to go for help.
The video’s popularity brought a wave of adoption inquiries, and it became clear that Quindim was no longer destined to live as a stray.
A year after the remarkable event, Vet Vip Clinic shared an update on Instagram: “The day he conquered the world 😍 today he is full of love and cuddles with his family, Quindim has gained weight and is showing good health.“
Quindim’s life had been transformed, and he now enjoyed the warmth of a loving family.
