Overlooked Sick Dog Can’t Contain His Joy As He Finally Gets Adopted
Mr. Magoo is a shelter dog from California who was constantly overlooked due to his appearance and health issues.
For a long time, no one gave him a chance, until one day, a kind-hearted woman saw how special he really was.
Passed Over Again And Again
Lisa Michele Chiarelli, from Frankie Lola & Friends in Los Angeles, went to the shelter with one goal: to give Mr. Magoo the second chance he deserved.

Suffering from demodectic mange and pneumonia, Magoo had spent countless days watching other dogs find homes while he remained alone.
When Lisa arrived to take him out, Magoo’s joy was instant—his tail wagged, and he gave her the sweetest smile, thrilled that someone had finally come for him.

Despite his rough past, all it took was Lisa’s love and a short cuddle for Magoo to transform into a happy, affectionate dog.
Finding The Ideal Foster Home
Lisa found the perfect foster home for Magoo with Arielle, a foster mom at Adopt the Underdogs who specializes in caring for dogs with health issues.

From the moment he arrived, Magoo quickly settled in, making friends with Arielle’s other dogs and becoming a beloved part of the family.
With serious skin issues and pneumonia, Magoo needed constant medication and care.
During his first few days, he slept a lot, enjoying his medicated baths. But as time passed, his health improved, and his playful personality began to shine.
“He’s comical (… ) you can’t be in a bad mood around this dog,” Arielle said.
Magoo loved fruits and veggies, so one day, Arielle and Lisa decided to throw him a picnic, complete with his favorite treats. It was a private party just for Magoo, and he adored every moment of it.

A Forever Home At Last
In just a few months, Magoo transformed into a brand-new dog.
Although his skin didn’t fully heal, he had much more energy and happiness. The best part? Magoo finally found his forever home—two loving moms and a pack of siblings to care for him.

Though it was bittersweet for Lisa and Arielle to say goodbye, they were overjoyed to see Magoo with a family that would love and care for him forever.
