Stray Dog Leaps With Joy After Spending A Month Tied To Trailer
A stray dog found himself tied to a woman’s trailer after she discovered him and didn’t know what else to do.
Sadly, he remained in that same spot for an entire month.

Local rescuers Jessie and Breana sprang into action as soon as they learned about the dog’s dire situation.

When they arrived, they were appalled at what they saw. The dog had been tied up for so long that the rope around his neck had become severely tangled. Cutting it off with a knife was the only option.

The poor dog was not only malnourished but also starved for attention.
He was overjoyed to see his rescuers. Jessie noted, “He was so excited just to see someone there that was there to help him.”
Once freed from the rope, the dog couldn’t hide his excitement. Jessie and Breana quickly took him to the shelter for a comprehensive checkup.

The dog’s happiness at being able to move around freely was evident as he jumped around with joy whenever he was outside.
A Loving Foster Home
Named Oscar Meyer, this joyful dog quickly found a loving foster home thanks to his cheerful disposition.
Kristin, a shelter coworker, was smitten and decided to foster him.
“Oscar Meyer was in our shelter for a week or two. And that’s when my coworker, Kristin, fell in love with him and decided to take him home and foster him.” Breana shared with The Dodo.

At home, Kristin’s pittie, Simba, bounded pretty quickly with the newcomer. It only took an hour for them to become best friends.
From Fostering To Adopting
Oscar Meyer embraced his new life, leaving his past behind and soaking in all the love and attention from his foster family.

After spending time with Oscar Meyer, she knew she couldn’t give him up.
“I knew I wanted to adopt Oscar probably after a couple of weeks.” Kristin said to The Dodo.

After a few months with Kristin, Oscar Meyer blossomed into a happy, energetic dog. He loved playing and making new friends, but he always made sure to come back to Kristin, showing his gratitude for the love and care he received.
