Left Tied To A Tree, This Brave Mama Dog Refused To Give Up Until Help Arrived

Brave Mother Dog Tied To A Tree Fought To Survive For Her Puppies

Abandoned and unable to protect herself, a helpless mother dog held on with all her strength, waiting for someone to save her and her babies.

Her heartbreaking story took a miraculous turn when rescuers arrived just in time.

Rescued Just In Time

Angel, a one-and-a-half-year-old Siberian Husky and German Shepherd mix, was found tied to a tree at Iglesia Park in Aliso Viejo, California.

Completely defenseless, she had no way to care for her seven puppies, let alone escape.

Thankfully, rescuers discovered her and acted immediately to bring the canine family to safety at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.

Details about how Angel and her puppies ended up abandoned remain unknown, but one thing was clear—no food, water, or shelter had been left for them. Fortunately, their rescuers arrived before tragedy struck.

At the time of her rescue, it was coyote mating season, and with many of these predators roaming the streets, Angel and her pups were in grave danger.

When checked for a microchip, Angel had none, making it difficult to trace her past. However, despite everything she had been through, she showed no signs of abuse and remained a gentle, loving dog.

She rolls over in submission when getting pets and will crawl up into your lap for attention,” Kelly Tokarski, public information specialist for the City of Mission Viejo, shared. “Simply put, Angel is a great dog. She just needs a wonderful home to give her the love she deserves.

Before starting their new journey, Angel and her puppies were bathed, vaccinated, and given medical supplies by the Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG).

With the kindness of so many people, this little family finally had a chance at happiness.

A New Chapter Begins

Angel’s puppies quickly found loving homes, but the young mother wasn’t as lucky—she had to wait a little longer for her perfect family.

Thankfully, her story spread quickly through social media, proving just how powerful online support can be.

Just 24 hours after Angel’s story aired on KNBC Channel 4 and went viral via the City’s social media, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center experienced a surge in adoption applications for this sweet Siberian husky-German shepherd mix,” the City of Mission Viejo, CA – Local Government announced in an update.

Soon after, a wonderful family from Murrieta, California, welcomed Angel into their home. Having recently lost several beloved pets, they saw her as a source of healing and love.

In the end, every member of this precious canine family found a happy ending. This heartwarming rescue proves that small acts of kindness can completely change a life.

Thanks to the efforts of compassionate rescuers, Angel and her puppies now have the bright futures they deserve.
