Rescue Chihuahua Mom Delivers 11 Puppies, Setting New World Record
When Laugh Out Loud (LOL) was rescued, her caregivers expected her to have a small litter of puppies, typical for a Chihuahua.
But when she went into labor at her foster home in Olathe, Kansas, everyone was in for a huge surprise!
A Record For A Chihuahua
Over the course of 12 hours, LOL delivered one puppy after another, and the final count left everyone in awe – she had given birth to 11 tiny puppies (3 girls and 8 boys)!

The timing couldn’t have been more special, as LOL delivered her puppies on National Puppy Day, adding a heartwarming touch to the whole experience.
Her foster mom, Josie, couldn’t believe it at first, thinking she had miscounted, but after double-checking, it was clear – LOL had indeed welcomed 11 healthy puppies into the world.
