Mya, a beautiful seven-year-old Great Pyrenees, is known not just for her friendly nature but for her habit of sneaking “shelly friends” into her house.
While her ancestors were herding and protecting farm animals, Mya has found her own calling in making unexpected friends, especially turtles!

Sneaking Her New Friend Home
Mya was having a great day when she discovered her newest friend—a turtle, or as she lovingly calls it, her “shelly fren.”
Excited to introduce her new pal to her home, Mya carefully tried to sneak the turtle inside. But before she could manage it, her mom showed up.

Rachel wasn’t surprised, this wasn’t the first time her gentle dog had tried to smuggle a turtle into the house.
A Tendency To Collect Turtles
The first time Rachel saw Mya with a turtle in her mouth, she was shocked.

Recently, Mya found another turtle and, knowing her mom’s likely response, attempted to sneak it inside without being noticed.

But Rachel was already one step ahead, aware of her dog’s intentions. Mya refused to let go of the turtle, standing by the door with a look of determination.
After a bit of convincing, Mya finally dropped the turtle unharmed, though she looked heartbroken.
