Tiny Dog Fills Hearts With Smiles After Being Saved
This tiny pup was found in terrible conditions with many others struggling to survive in a hoarding house.
Despite the situation, she couldn’t stop smiling at everybody when finally rescued.
After a much needed time at the vet’s, she has fully recovered and is now ready for adoption.
Smile Was Rescued From A Tough Situation
Smile, a little pup, grew up in a hoarding house with 23 other dogs, never knowing what real love felt like. The conditions were terrible, with many dogs becoming sick.
Thankfully, the At-Choo Foundation in Toluca Lake, California, came to their rescue.
Although Smile had mange, her case wasn’t as severe as some of the other dogs. But she was also pregnant and in a lot of pain.
No Dog Left Behind (NDLB) in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, learned about Smile and immediately wanted to help. They were determined to bring her to their rescue despite the distance.
“She gives her smiles freely, but we hope to show Smile that humans are good enough to be actually deserving of her love,” NDLB shared on Facebook.
Enjoying Quarantine With A Smile
Upon arriving in Minnesota, Smile was incredibly small and didn’t appear pregnant. Due to severe neglect, she lost her entire litter just two weeks before giving birth.
Even so, Smile showed incredible strength and resilience. Her smile became a source of joy during quarantine, helping everyone around her stay positive.
Stephanie Easley, NDLB’s manager, noted how Smile’s warm presence was a comforting balm during tough times.
Smile Had The Best Foster Momma
Easley couldn’t resist fostering Smile, bringing her into her home. They spent their days together, always with a smile.

Smile was calm and trusting, even during her treatments and medicated baths.
It seemed she knew she was finally safe and loved.
Smile Easily Found A Loving Family
Many people wanted to adopt Smile, but she had to finish her treatment first.
Eventually, the perfect family came forward to give her a forever home.
“Smile joined a wonderful family, and we are confident that she will live her best life with them,” NDLB announced.
