Big Pittie Still Naps on Dad’s Shoulder Despite Her Size

Big Pittie Still Naps on Dad's Shoulder Despite Her Size

Norman and Annabelle are the luckiest dogs because they have been together since birth. They’ve been inseparable since their time in the womb and have never known life apart from each other.

Born on a Friday the 13th, their arrival turned out to be incredibly fortunate.

Here’s their story.

Welcoming 12 Puppies

Bobby Keane and his wife, Danni, from Maryland, knew their lives were about to take a turn when they welcomed a pregnant Pitbull into their home, who was due to give birth in just a week.

Although it was a significant commitment, they were determined to provide a safe haven for the mother and her soon-to-be-born puppies.

A week later, the Pitbull gave birth to 12 puppies in their new home in Maryland.

They Couldn’t Let Go Of All The Newborn Pups

Raising one dog is already a big task, but taking care of a dozen puppies and their mother is an enormous challenge.

Initially, Bobby and Danni planned not to keep any of the puppies, but they couldn’t resist the charm of some of them. This is how Norman and Annabelle, the best friend siblings, became part of their family.

Norman formed an immediate bond with Danni and her daughter, while Annabelle became particularly close to Bobby, becoming his little girl.

When Annabelle was just three weeks old, she started napping on Bobby’s shoulder, a habit that quickly became her favorite.

“One night when Annabelle was 3 weeks old, Bobby picked her up and put her on his shoulder, and she fell asleep. It became a regular thing after that. They bonded in that moment. He’s never tried to stop her from doing it. There will be times when she gets a little overbearing, and he makes her move until she calms down, but once she does, she comes back and falls asleep on his shoulder.” Danni shared with Bored Panda.

This endearing routine helped Annabelle and Norman gain fame as canine celebrities.

Becoming Social Media Superstars

Even years later, Annabelle still loves to snooze on her dad’s shoulder, despite weighing over 50 pounds now. Daddy’s little girl remains a puppy at heart, always close to Bobby.

Bobby and Danni never intended to become famous or to make their dogs social media stars. However, their videos quickly captured the hearts of viewers, who loved watching their daily interactions.

“We never know what is going to go viral, LOL. We have never been social media people, and we never would have thought we’d be running a social media account for our dogs, but here we are. We don’t take it too seriously. We do it for fun. It’s our way of making a video diary of sorts of our lives with our dogs. It’s something sweet we will be able to look back on once they’ve passed.” They shared with Bored Panda.

Norman and Annabelle, known as the Little Monsters on Instagram and TikTok, have a dedicated fanbase. People enjoy seeing their playful and supportive activities.

Whether it’s playing with a giant ball or keeping their dad company during work, these dogs have a structured daily routine filled with mental stimulation and adventures such as park visits, hiking, and renting a SniffSpot.

Norman and Annabelle are incredibly fortunate to have such loving human parents and have grown into happy, caring dogs. This pair of American Bullies couldn’t ask for a better life with Bobby and Danni!
