Tiny Pup Was Left All Alone In A Ditch With Nothing But A Blanket
Mica’s life didn’t start easy. She was left all alone, lying on a blanket in a ditch, cold, hungry, and scared.
Curled up tightly, all she could do was hope that someone kind would find her.
A Gentle Rescue
One day, Diana, an animal lover and rescuer, happened to see the tiny pup shaking with fear.

Her heart broke at the sight. She spoke to Mica in a soft voice, blowing her kisses to let her know help had arrived.
Diana moved slowly, not wanting to scare the little dog any further. With patience and care, she managed to slip a leash around her.

When Diana carried her to the car, Mica buried her face into her rescuer’s arms, still trembling. Diana gently stroked her, trying to comfort her.

Knowing Mica needed more care, Diana called her friend Samantha Dix, founder of Street Life To The Sweet Life.
Samantha, who fosters dogs through Lola’s Lucky Day, quickly agreed to take Mica in.
Feeling Love For The First Time
When Samantha met Mica, her heart melted. The little pup had beautiful brindle fur with the cutest white socks. Samantha gave her a warm bath and a cozy place to rest.
At first, Mica was shy and unsure, but Samantha and her husband, George, gave her all the time and love she needed.

With gentle strokes and plenty of kindness, they slowly helped her feel safe.
Mica blossomed under their care. She adored her foster parents, showing her love through sweet kisses and playful dances.

“She would just dance really fast in front of you. Her whole body wiggles. Definitely would let you know when she was happy, which was all the time,” Samantha said with a smile.
Mica even had a funny habit of carrying her foster parents’ shoes around, carefully rearranging them just the way she liked.
A Bright New Beginning
After three weeks filled with love and healing, it was finally time for Mica to find her forever family.
Thanks to Ruff Start Rescue, one of Lola’s Lucky Day’s partners, Mica’s dream came true. She was adopted by a wonderful family in Minnesota.

Now named Ewa, this once-scared pup is living her happiest life.
She adores her new family and loves nothing more than snuggling up for cuddles. And her parents love her beyond words.
