In 2018, Lexi Smith from Denver decided to add a furry friend to her life, but she never imagined how much a little Dalmatian puppy would change her world.
Wiley, the Dalmatian with a unique heart-shaped spot on his nose, quickly turned from a cute pet into an internet superstar.

When Lexi chose Wiley from his litter, it wasn’t his spots that won her over—it was his vibrant personality.
“I had committed to a puppy from his litter before any of them had spots. I got the first pick of the litter, but I chose him because of his personality more than anything else.” Lexi told People.
However, when Wiley was about six weeks old, a heart-shaped spot emerged on his nose, making him stand out even more. This adorable marking, which Lexi initially wasn’t sure would remain as he grew, became a permanent and beloved feature.

As soon as Lexi shared images of Wiley and his distinctive nose, he became an online star.
Wherever they go, Wiley is a magnet for attention, but he doesn’t mind; he loves meeting new people and soaking up all the affection.
“Everyone notices the heart,” Wiley’s mom told The Dodo. “Can’t take him anywhere without being mobbed, but he loves all the attention. He is cute and he knows it!”
