Cheeky Pup Ends Up In A Cereal Mess After Getting Into A Box Of Sugar Puffs

One cheeky Shih Tzu found a sweet opportunity in a cereal box, leaving behind a sticky mess.
By the end, she was barely recognizable and faced one of her longest grooming sessions yet.
A Sticky Situation
Heather Hunt, a proud dog mom of three mischievous pups, never imagined the scene she would walk into one day after shopping.
As she stepped inside, the sight of scattered cereal and torn Sugar Puffs boxes greeted her. It was an epic mess in the hallway.

“I came back in from shopping and it was all over the floor everywhere. I went mad,” Hunt shared with SWNS.
Her two dogs, George and Mildred, looked innocent and clean, but her 2-year-old Shih Tzu, Crumpet, was nowhere to be found.
When Hunt peeked into Crumpet’s crib, she couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry. Crumpet was completely coated in sticky cereal from head to toe.
Hunt tried everything to clean her up but quickly realized it wasn’t a job she could handle alone.

“She got into two other cereal boxes too, but the sugar puff cereal is covered in honey, so it stuck to her fur like tar,” Hunt explained. “I tried to wet them, but it just turned them into wallpaper paste.“
With no other option, Hunt sought professional help.
The Ultimate Grooming Challenge
Hunt called her local grooming salon and managed to secure an emergency appointment for Crumpet.
When they arrived, even the experienced groomers were shocked at the sticky spectacle before them. The task was daunting, but they were determined to help Crumpet.
“When I finally decided to take her to the groomers, it took them nearly three hours to wash her, cut all of the cereal out, and make her look like a dog again,” Hunt shared.
The transformation was incredible. After her intense grooming session, Crumpet emerged with a fresh haircut, looking like a completely new pup.
