She was trembling from hunger, her fur was filthy and matted, and she hadn’t eaten in a long time.
Though she was terrified and wouldn’t let them come close, they left a trail of food, hoping she’d follow—and she did.
But when they looked away, she disappeared.

The next morning, she briefly returned, then vanished again.
Refusing to give up, the group reviewed security footage and discovered she’d been sleeping in a cardboard box tucked away in a narrow alley.

They rushed to the spot and gently lured her in. This time, they were able to bring her to safety.
From Rescue To Recovery
After taking time to help her relax, one rescuer brought her along for a shopping trip to gather supplies before heading straight to the vet.

The moment the vet saw her, he was shocked.
The poor dog desperately needed grooming. He trimmed her tangled fur, gave her a thorough bath, and cleaned her up completely.
When he was done, she looked like a different dog.

Next came the health check. Thankfully, everything came back okay, except for a small nutritional deficiency that had made her underweight.
Since there was no need to keep her at the clinic, the vet provided simple care instructions.

Each day, she gained strength and slowly left her fears behind.
